A 1.5-acre site for a one-story, 2 bay fire station of approximately 6,500 sq. ft. Interior included living quarters for the firemen/paramedics, which included a kitchen with dining area, restrooms with showers, fitness room, training room, and sleeping quarters. A separate space for a small branch office for law enforcement was to be included. A biohazard wash down area, heliport, and a truck refueling station were part of the sitework. Other requirements were to provide a secure drug and medicine storage, full generator-powered electrical system, and workshop for repairs and lawn equipment. The building was designed for sustained winds of 155-mph.
